The game is designed well for turn based as you have to select cards as first part, and 2nd part confirm move and all the actions. I have many suggestions listed below:
Suggestion 1: Auto car movement
When you only have 1 choice of movement, it should have a auto-confirm timer (maybe 20 seconds wait) when your car has only 1 option of movement as it does 95-99% of the times only 1 valid choice. This doesn't not happen if you play cards with multiple movement options (brakes, rpm)
Toggle-able buttons
Space Base implementation it has auto choice tick options which speeds up the game. I think that could speed up turn based games and to some extent in real time games.
You have option to tick some markers there for your next action which you can choose to boost automatically.

Boosting:
Option 1: Manual (default)
Option 2: Never boost
Option 3: Always Boost.
Suggestion 3:
Cooldown and Adrenaline:
Option 1: Manual (default)
Option 2: Always

Only for 2 players it takes days, as you have no option for ending your 2nd part of your turn preemptively
I have made some suggestions above for improving turn based games. In some player turns, this could be done by one single planned action.
If any of these is not planned you are still going to be awaken so there is basically no point in removing the other part in that case.
I am much more in favour of being able to hide the other progress so that you are awaken to select your cards then immediately reveal what other did and do your whole turn.
But that is very difficult to implement.
