The column which originally has the "increase event card limit" column played in it, allows an additional card to be played. That is correct
If that "increase event card limit" event is then moved from the column, the extra (now not allowed) event card remains in the column. That column's festival then changes from "sold out" to "no longer sold out" but it allows you continue to place events in that column - they don't appear below, but they just disappear.
Oh actually - the whole thing now seems to be broken - column 3 (the broken column) is empty and we can play cards to it and they just disappear. -
