Even better, but of course much much more costly to implement, would be to have the option to be warned if you can use a Djinn and you are not using it (probably not a good option but I felt like putting it on the table anyways..) -

If I dont write anything here, what happens? I receive a "You must fill all fields.." so I have filled this with useful not pertinent information :)

Hiding the button to use a Djinn when you cannot pay the cost is reasonable and I agree with adding it.
Showing a warning when you're not using a djinn in a situation where "maybe you should be" constitutes player assistance so I won't add that (see www.slideshare.net/slideshow/bga-studio-guidelines/15427504#20)
