often because too many mantas are flipped, certain locations cannot be claimed due to overpaying. undo last action would allow game to go to previous state to fix simple mistakes like flipping mantas instead of resetting whole turn

Some sort of "Undo last action" button would be great. A single turn might have over 10 actions performed at times when you get a long combo going. Can be tiring having to redo whole turn because you performed one step wrong and have to go all the way back to the beginning.

Oh, for sure. It's highly frustrating to have to re-do the entire series of actions.
The developer has explained the BGA site-wide logistical issues with implementing single-action undo. It's not just Aquatica that has this problem.

I used the default BGA Undo system (snapshot of database and restore database). Having every single action recorded and having each undo action is a lot more work and less "secure" than reset.
Maybe one day (maybe with an extension), I will implement a undo system (1 action) but it will required a refactoring of the game engine.
