The text: "You must give the action card to a player" should indicate which action card its talking about. I just opened up my game and was greeted with this text and didn't know what it meant. This is my first game, so there's no doubt I will be more careful next time. But what I chose to do this time was to give the card to myself. I thought it was a Draw 3 card, but it turned out to be a FREEZE card which I absolutely didn't want to give to myself.

It would have really helped if the action text said "You must give the FREEZE action card to a player". Or "Choose a player to give the FREEZE card" or something more descriptive.
