Since a couple of days or weeks, the replay functionality is completely useless. While you get a loading screen, it immediately jumps to the current/latest turn without actually going through the replay.

Can't get any replays in this game to work correctly, I grabbed a random table from the list of played games. -

You'll get a popup for past events and you have to click to close the popup but the replay will continue in the background.
At some point, the displayed civil cards will suddenly be the current ones and the replay will stall
