Do you see tiles in the play log? Do you see other players' hands or captured tiles? Have you tried with browsers other than Safari?

I experience the same thing on my laptop, running an older version of Firefox.
Also missing are all the images in the log.
(e.g. log entry says "red7king plays , capturing ExpendableEnsign's ")

In both cases, the HTML is doing massive negative percentages, which I'm guessing the browser doesn't understand. (Also, I've not seen this particular problem with any other game, so I guess nobody else codes pages this way.)

I just noticed that you're using .webp files. Mozilla didn't implement those until 2019, so that is probably the problem. I don't think I have any software on my laptop whatsoever that can understand webp files. If you just use jpg, it'll probably be fine for everyone.

Unfortunately, it wasn't my choice to use WEBP. The BGA deploy scripts automatically convert JPEG images to WEBP. In fact, I was originally using JPEG but had to switch to WEBP because the conversion process was making the images fuzzy.

Sorry the game's not compatible with your old browser, but I'm afraid that fixing things for non-current browsers is a very low priority.

As it happens, this is my 100th game on BGA and none of the others fail this way.
(Some fail due to using ES2020 javascript, but none have this image issue.)

Actually, this site says that webp should work automatically as an understood format anyhow "if set up properly".

Unlike other browser issues I've had on BGA, there are no javascript errors, so it's hard to know exactly what is going wrong. I find it interesting that the initial report is from a user of a (fairly recent) version of Safari.

(In case you wonder, I have completed my games by using my phone.)

Played a game just now (184155332).
One player had an iPad. Therefore couldn't see any tiles. Had to abandon.

I'm not able to reproduce on iOS 14.5 on a simulated iPad 8th generation. I was able to watch the replay of this game without any trouble. Can you confirm that you're not able to?

Also, you should be able to run iOS 14 on your revision of iPad. Would you mind updating and seeing if that fixes the issue? Thanks.

Can you confirm your iPhone's iOS version? It seems like this issue only affects older iOS (and potentially Macs running Safari)

I have this problem tonight as described - invisible clickable tiles. Running Safari v14.1.1 on macOS Mojave v 10.14.6

Looks like this is a problem with lack of webp support. Since jpg gets converted to webp automatically during deploy, I'll look into switching to png instead
