I have also tried to do the action Trade: Decommission a space ship.

I select the action and confirm but it asks me to select the spaceship
Do I have to select the amount of ore ?
There is no blue box around any of my spaceships so I can't select any of them

I've just checked - the blue border appears around your ships when you're performing a resource trade. If you're not seeing it, please try refreshing.

I had difficulty with this myself just now. #171482070, Move #203 or 204

I wanted to select 2 ships, and it seemed to let me, but then when I clicked Confirm it told me to select ships. When I clicked on the button that appears below the three trade options, that didn't seem to do anything. In the end I managed to convert 1 ship, but then that ended my turn...

I ran into this as well, table #177641249, move #184

Upon selecting to do a resource trade, I picked the option to: Pay 1 ore to take 1 Spaceship from anywhere and turn it into a Population cube.

It prompted me to select the ships (with of them highlighted blue).
I selected two of them and they became highlighted red.
I confirmed the decision, and it prompted an error saying to please select a spaceship (used the icon of a ship with a question mark, to denote any ship).

It only allowed the move to happen when I deselected down to a single ship, at which point the turn ended.

The rules state that I should be able to do this as many times as I want, though, which I take to mean either selecting multiple ships and doing it in one go, or selecting one at a time multiple times until I'm finished.

Summary: Doing a resource trade to take 1 spaceship and turn it into a population cube only works if a single ship is selected. Multiple ships prompts an error notification asking you to select a ship.

Potential modifier in my situation that could have had impact: I had researched Technological Singularity, which reduces all action costs by either one ore or one population-loss. I wouldn't think that would impact anything since this is the Income phase, not the Action phase, but wanted to note that just in case.

I happen to be using Edge. I could trade 1 ship, but that ended my trading. No other combination of selecting ships and pressing buttons resulted in being able to trade more than 1 ship. I've had this problem before as well. So annoying!
I'd be very grateful if it could be fixed. The interface is certainly unclear for trading: it would be helpful if there could be a button saying 'Done trading' and trading would only end after this was pressed. It's unclear what 'Confirm' means in this case, and there's no undo!

Ah, I've just worked out how it works! (Well my friend did...)

It's really unclear that you have to click the Trade action multiple times in order to line up all the trades before actioning them. If that could be explained, that would be really helpful. Clearly I'm not the only person who got confused by this!
