Maybe allow the storyteller to click something to say they’ve told their story.
Or have the story written in the actual game space rather than in chat. • Hvilken nettleser bruker du?

I’m currently at a game where the storyteller hasn’t written a story yet but it’s logged as being our turns to select a card that matches the story.

The Storyteller does have to click "My Story Is Finished" before the game can progress to choosing matching cards. The log says "Storyteller Rotilio finished telling their story" when they did that. Perhaps Rotilio didn't read the rules or instructions. Having the story typed in the game space may be a good idea, Dmitry (the game designer) expected the game to mostly be played on audio chat but I'll talk to him about improvements.

I see there is a big time gap after the story finish. Perhaps the story teller told their story by audio chat and you were not there at the time -- they storyteller should ensure all players are connected and can hear if they are using audio chat. The game has just gone Alpha, so thanks for the feedback.

Thank you for this suggestion! As Idsky mentioned, there is a special button "My story is finished", so there is some protection against occasional mistake by the storyteller, However, it would be very difficult to protect other players from deliberate ignoring of the rule that a story must be told and it must be meaningful. For example, a possible solution of not allowing a storyteller to press this button until some characters are typed in wouldn't protect from entering random symbols but would probably annoy diligent storytellers.
We intend to add a dedicated text field for the story; maybe it would make the necessity to tell a story more clear to all storytellers. Let's see whether this problem persists then.

We have a story text area and the storyteller must put something in there
(it can just be the story name if using audio chat in a realtime game)
