Detaljert beskrivelse
-
• Vennligst kopier/lim inn feilmeldingen du ser på skjermen, om mulig.
In turn-based mode, the player discarding a tile still has to click Pass, it seems. They should always pass.
Also, all other players must click Pass even if they have no call possible. Ideally, the game should automatically pass to save a large amount of time when no play would be possible. -
• Vennligst forklar hva du ønsket å gjøre, samt hva du faktisk gjorde og hva som skjedde

Rapporthistorikk
However for turn-based, an option to autopass would be greatly appreciated.
In either case, I think the discarder should be forced to pass.
More advanced options could include "always call for ron" and "always call for pon".
Yes, the discarder should pass automaticly. (That would be a thumps up)
If people want it, with any of the mentioned autopass (if can't make a claim) and or autocall (ron, pon), I sure hope it becomes optional (and don't expect from me to ever turn it on).
Also yes, discarder should not even be prompted whether or not to call on their own tile.
However this is a big timesaver and usually players don't want to be bothered over needless call questions.
Should be optional though.
It's not suited for real time, and I probably won't turn forced autopass on at real time tables. Still I support this option. As I said on other posts without this feature turn-based is nearly impossible to go on.
I have implemented this (optional automatic calls, optional automatic play in Riichi) through player preferences on the studio version, with reasonable granularity. I will update all the suggestions here once it is in production and you can try it out. I am finishing the testing, so should be in a few days.
As ufm says, these options are primarily aimed at turn-based mode. In the realtime version, the time-based automatic pass works fine and is generally the better option (since it obfuscates information, obviates clicking, and is set at table level, i.e., consistently across players).
Some extra info if you care:
Whenever you do something on BGA through player preferences, it is really meant to be a personal preference, originally only for display-related features. Offering these options is thus a compromise and has some downsides. I would fully understand that it might annoy, for example, player #1 to learn that player #2 has set preferences in a way that reveals information about player #2's hand, especially if player #3 or #4 profit from it. As I said, a compromise. These cannot and should not be set at table level since they are situational.
Another thing that might not be obvious to players is that these preferences, which you set in the browser, so client-side, have to be proactively communicated to the server by the game's implementation (there is no automatic syncing). There is no "event" that is triggered (except page reload) when you change these, which means that they can be communicated to the server side only when you perform an action. This is a limitation of the current BGA framework.
@ufm: Thanks for the info on the random false delays. Unfortunately, BGA relies heavily on allotting time to players for their actions, and this would probably clash with that general idea.
