The names in the game log are of the character names, and this is going to be confusing as every other game uses username in the game log area. Considering most people play with people they don't know, it's near impossible to remember to associate a character name with a username. Therefore, in the game log, it should be the username which is referred to, as usual.

Player's color is the same as character's: not sure there can be any confusion here.
