Just as a variant on my other suggestion, rather than a log entry for EVERY swap, maybe just a single log entry per player to say what you passed on just not to who, e.g.

Doesn't even have to say who it's passed to, just it'd be nice especially in turn based as when you come back on it can be a little confusing and make you say "Wait, was that what I had, erm...idk, I guess, maybe, who knows"
