• Hva var spillhandlingen du ønsket å gjøre?
I wanted to claim route from Saint Luis to Pittsburg, I had 4 green trains and 4 multi colour ones. The route needs 5 green trains, so I should be able to place 4 greens and 1 multicolour.

When I hovered over the route, my cursor changed implying it is clickable, but clicking on it didn't do anything, and I received an error message that i dont have enough wagons.

I have previously claimed routes using a combination of multicolour trains and one-colour trains, but it only stopped working on the last turn of the game.

I had hovered my cursor over the route, the cursor changed it's shape to imply I can click on the route. I had clicked on the route and it only displayed an error message at the top of the screen.

I had tried clicking it multiple times, but I always only received the error message.

On the top of the screen there appeared a red textbox with an error message. It said that I didn't have the required trains to claim that route.

HI Thoun,
I have analysed this party, the bug seems real.
I have noted an informations that may have an effect : It is a TTR (not 1910) with 5 players and, at begining, 2 players quit the game (move 2 and 4)
I have seen 41 times the "Not enough train cars left to claim the route." error message in the log.
The problem occurs after move 200, Dorisonek123 had 3 greens and 4 locos, so enough train cards to do a route for 5 green cards (Saint Louis to Pittsburg).
Later he will have 4 greens and always locos. It was also no possible to do the route.
Or Dorisonek123 clicked in another part of the map needing more than 4 cards but it was the end of the party and Dorisonek123 need to do this Saint Louis to Pittsburg route...

It looks like the boardgamearena.com/bug?id=72791 problem : "Cannot claim route" !
Near the end of a party, with enough cards of one color + locomotives (jockers) we can't claim a route.

I have made the same mistake twice....
Dorisonek123 had only 3 train cars to play at the End and he had also a lot of cards in hand.
He can’t play a route of 4 or 5 cards with only 3 train cars.
So you can close also this bug with the ”notabug” status.

I have tried on multiple turns to claim the route from Portland to San Francisco. I have sufficient trains, but it won't let me claim that particular route. I've been able to claim other routes

I wanted to claim chicago to pittsburgh for 3 black trains and even if i have enough trains i was not allowed to claim it and the other player has not placed any trains on that route either. I hovered on other paths and those can be claimed. This resulted to me losing the game (arena game) by not completing a 21 point route.

I didn't know about the screen shot but will do in future. This happened on a couple of games tonight when trying to place my trains on a route the game won't let me, I.e. It doesn't even register I am selecting the route. It will let me pick up cards etc, it justacts like that one action is frozen.

I had a similar problem not be able to claim some routes in a game today. (Table #473953799). I had more than enough black trains to claim Denver to Kansas City or pink trains to claim Denver to Omaha as well as single train to claim the single track between Kansas City and Omaha but I could not claim each even though I tried several rounds. I tried each of these several times over different turns. I did not get an error message and while the route highlighted like I could claim it, the pointer did not change and I could not click on the route. This happened late in the game to me as yellow player but I don't know what move ID. However I did have enough trains left to Hitting F5 (Fn F5 on a Mac) didn't help. At the same time I was able to claim routes in other places on the map. This is the first time this has happened over 20+ games played.

I wasn't able to claim the route from Omaha to Helena even though I had though I had enough trains (2 red and 4 locomotives). Other red routes were available and other moves were possible, just this route (which would have allowed me to complete a route) was blocked.

I couldn't claim St. Loius to Kansas City despite having both pink and blue cards. The routes would light up, but nothing happened when I clicked.

I have had this bug multiple times now, causing me to need to quit the game (as I couldn't place trains on any relevant routes). My karma has been badly damaged because of it.

Extremely frustrating and I'm not going to be playing online anymore, absolute waste of my time.

I should have been able to play st louis to chicago at the end of the game, I had two white trains and the route was open. The game let me play atlanta to raleigh.

I reached a point in the game where the only action the game allowed me to make was to take tickets. Even when I had sufficient trains (and given that I could only take tickets, there were many options open to me), the only thing the interface allowed me to do was to select trains.
My internet connection was stable.
I was playing on an iPad, therefore F5 was not an available option.
Once the problem started, it did not stop.
I am not certain whether other players were affected, but they didn’t appear to be.
As this was the first time it had happened to me, I didn’t think to take any screenshots.

You can refresh on mobile devices, even without F5 key. Usually it is by dragging the whole page down. How many train car tokens left ? You don't give table number & move number so we can't help you

J'ai eu le problème suivant : je ne pouvais prendre une route incolore qu'avec des locos.
Le problème s'est manifesté pour la première fois au coup 34 lorsque j'ai pris Dallas - Houston, le système a choisi pour moi de jouer une loco et ensuite c'était systématique : toute route incolore était prise par des locos.
Ainsi, je n'ai pas pu prendre la route Winnipeg - Sault St Marie alors que j'avais 6 wagons jaunes mais "seulement" 4 locos.

En revanche, quand je choisissais une route avec deux couleurs, j'avais le choix de la couleur pourvu que j'ai les cartes ad hoc.

C'est la première fois que je rencontre ce souci. Je n'ai pas pensé à recharger la page, tant pis.

Cliquiez vous sur l'une de vos cartes wagon en main afin de choisir la couleur, avant de cliquer sur la route grise à construire avec cette couleur choisie ?
Si vous ne choisissez pas la couleur avant de dire où construire pourquoi TTR n'utiliserait pas la couleur jocker/locomotive puisque l'on ne lui a rien précisé !

I wanted to claim the black route from Kansas City to Denver. It had 3 black and 3 engines. I used the black on another route to make sure it worked. I then claimed another black. Still the 4 black open route refuses to complete taking me from first to last.

The problem seems to exist looking the table from David!

Till #110 move to the end (#155 move), David had the possibility to build the Denver to OC route with its 2 reds and 2 locomotives, but I suppose he can’t because he takes new unusefull visible train-cars cards in the lasts moves.

But I have a question for David, to build the Denver to OC route, do you select the red cards before selecting the route?

Maybe TTR wants to build the road with only one color and it chooses the Joker color!

It is the rule in TTR : only 1 of the 2 routes of a double route can be built at 2 or 3 players !

For double routes, only ONE route is available in 2-3 player games on the USA and Europe maps. And BGA usually indicates this by displaying black circles on the route NOT claim for that route.

Also usually the issue with not being able to claim a route usually comes down to the fact you usually don't have enough trains to lay down on the route (i.e .near the end of the game). This usually is the case. Obviously not saying BGA has some issues with it but a good percentage of the time it is usually due to operator error (Having enough cards but not enough trains to lay/claim the route).

A quel coup as-tu voulu construire la route de Nashville à Saint Louis (Je suppose) ?
A ton dernier coup, le 225e ? Je ne vois pas l’intérêt. Ce que tu as joué était mieux, cela a fait plus de points (4 au lieu de 2) surtout que tu avais déjà le bonus du plus long chemin.
Pour construire ta route, as-tu sélectionné la couleur rouge dans tes cartes avant de sélectionner la route ?

I just got expelled from a game when it said I took too long!! I kept trying to play two oranges from NY to Washington and it would not take my choice!! I had two orange tickets and the space was empty! My karma was taken down 10 points!! Please correct that penalty for me! Emma did give me back my karma. Thank you Emma. But it looked like I abandoned the game.

You lose because you were out of time, so the other player skips your turn.

I don't understand why you try to build NY - Washington with 2 Orange.
It was your last turn, it was better to play 3 Orange or 3 Yellow to have 4 points that is better than only 2 point.
The 10 point bonus were already to the other player with more train cars in its longer route.

About playing the 2 Orange:
- Have you selected first, the Orange cards in your hand before chosing the route ?
- Have you tried to zoom to have a better view of the route you want to select ?

I was unable to select several routes in the middle of map (Kansas to St Louis, Chicago to St Louis, plus couple of others) despite having plenty of trains and in the colours needed. I tried for 3 or 4 moves, ended up doing a move I didn’t really want to make.

I was able to select routes on other side of map (that I didn’t want) and new train cards, and new destinations. Server had previously been slow, for my opponent too.

Opponent suggested we abandon game, which we did do.

I had 2 each cards of white, pink and black, and 3 cards each of yellow and blue at the time of the last round. I was not able to put 2 cards of any (same) color on any 2-train gray link. I kept getting the message that I had insufficient cards to claim the route. This happened twice today. Each time it was during the final round. The second time it froze up after trying 3 different colors on 3 different sections of track and then I was expelled for not responding. Frustrated.

I have enough trains to buy multiple routes and it won't allow me to buy any.

I try clicking on any valid route and nothing happens.

I've been stuck like this for at least a day. I don't want to quit the game.

Can you explain where you want to build a route with 1 wagon ?
The 2 tracks always available (at West-North) were already taken by you. You can't build a second time a double route!

I was trying to claim the blue route from Omaha to Chicago and had 3 blue cards and a rainbow but no matter how many times I clicked or restarted the page it wouldn’t let me
I timed out so chose 2 random cards to end my turn and it let me claim the route the next turn
Sometimes that turn can make the difference when you need a route though

When you want to build Omaha - Chicago, you have the 3 blues but no more the rainbow card already used to build Denver - Omaha !
It is why you can't claim the blue route of 4.
You chose to take 2 random cards and a rainbow card is present permitting to build at next move the route of 4 blues.

I checked and double checked as was so confused as to why it didn’t work

Had the same bug, can't claim the route Schaffhausen to Zurich. It needs 3 orange, I had 2 orange and a locamotive. It wasn't showing as highlighted, clicking on it did nothing and refreshing the page didn't change the game state.

That's in the Switzerland rules, you can only use locomotives in tunnels on this map.
