Limit is a competitive strategy game where you take on the role of a nation’s leader, steering your country through history, from the early days of the Industrial Revolution to a near future.
Everyone starts with the same resources and opportunities. But what you do next is up to you. Using Politics cards, you’ll make decisions that shape your nation’s population, productivity, and standing on the world stage.
The game throws plenty of challenges your way, environmental disasters, financial meltdowns, and even military crises. Will you aim for sustainability and work with others, or push for domination? Can you stick to your vision, or will you need to adapt as global events unfold? It’s all in your hands.
Limit is played over 7 rounds, called "generations," during which you’ll guide your nation through three key phases. A political phase, where you pass policies that will shape your country’s future. A social phase where you look after your population. And an international phase, in which you interact with other players through diplomacy… or competition.
If you reach all 7 generations, the player with the most points wins. But don’t get too comfortable as the game can end early if players cause 4 global crises.

Alle starter med de samme ressursene og mulighetene. Men hva du gjør videre er opp til deg. Ved å bruke Politikkkort tar du avgjørelser som former nasjonens befolkning, produktivitet og anseelse på verdensscenen.
Spillet byr på mange utfordringer, miljøkatastrofer, økonomiske sammenbrudd og til og med militære kriser. Vil du sikte mot bærekraft og samarbeide med andre, eller presse på for dominans? Kan du holde fast ved visjonen din, eller må du tilpasse deg etter hvert som globale hendelser utfolder seg? Alt er i dine hender.
Limit spilles over 7 runder, kalt «generasjoner», hvor du skal lede nasjonen din gjennom tre nøkkelfaser. En politisk fase, hvor du vedtar politikk som vil forme landets fremtid. Hvis du når alle 7 generasjoner, vinner spilleren med flest poeng. Men ikke bli for komfortabel, da spillet kan slutte tidlig hvis spillerne forårsaker 4 globale kriser.
