Regelsammendrag
Note that the BoardGameArena rules of 4 player Pinochle only allow card passing between partners in 'Friendly Mode'. You must select 'Card Exchange' as an option. If you are not playing friendly mode with card exchange, then in single deck partnership Pinochle, instead of passing cards, the declarer will pick up a 4 card kitty and discard 4 cards before declaring melds.
